Our avian boarding facility requires psittacosis and beak and feather testing prior to boarding. You can schedule an appointment with us for a blood test that goes to a lab and takes an average of 7-14 days to receive results. If boarding is needed on an emergency basis, your bird will board in our isolated warm room until negative results are received from the lab.

Starting October 2023 all rabbits boarding must have an up to date RHDV vaccine in order to board.
COVID-19 Policy
- Face masks are NOT required at this time.
- 1 adult will be allowed in the building per appointment, NO CHILDREN, due to the size of our waiting and exam rooms. Additional family members will be asked to wait in the car
- Clients who have children with them will be offered curbside
- Exceptions will be made for euthanasia appointments ONLY
- Prescriptions can be picked up at the front desk Clients should call ahead and give 24 hours for all prescriptions
- Curbside will still be offered to all clients upon request
Waiting Room Policy
For your safety and the safety of our staff and animals in our care, we require that all animals be placed on a leash or in pet carriers while in the waiting room. Which includes all small mammals and birds. If you do not have a carrier, then you will be asked to wait in your car until appointment
Exam Room Policy
Please allow us to care for your pet at all times after he enters the exam room. We always act in the best interest of you and your pet, so we ask that you follow any instructions that our veterinarian and technician give. This will ensure that any procedure goes as quickly and smoothly as possible.
No Show Fee/Cancellation Policy
We reserve the right to reschedule your appointment if you are 15 minutes late.
If an appointment is not confirmed by either text message, email, or phone call to the office by 3pm the day prior to the appointment then we reserve the right to cancel the appointment so that we are able to get in another animal in need.
Appointments
A $55 fee will be assessed per animal for any missed appointments or cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance.
Surgery
A $100 fee will be assessed per animal for any missed surgical appointments or surgical cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance.
Multiple occurrences may result in dismissal from our practice.
